Their portfolio includes dynamic businesses with substantial growth potential in the manufacturing, light industrial, and consumer goods (CPG) space. Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a portfolio company for one of our Private Equity clients. The CFO will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, overseeing financial operations, and supporting the company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation, extensive M& A experience, and a proven track record of success in smaller organizations with less than $500 million in revenue (Manufacturing or CPG HIGHLY preferred).Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term objectives and growth plans. Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes at both operational and strategic levels.
Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Mergers and Acquisitions (M& A): Lead M& A initiatives, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and deal structuring. Evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships to support the company's growth objectives.
Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Leadership and Team Development: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
CPA designation required.
Extensive experience (minimum 7-10 years) in financial management roles, with a focus on M& A activities.
Proven track record of success in smaller organizations with less than $500 million in revenue, preferably within the private equity or related industry.
