Description Compensation: $225-250k + 40% + EquityBenefits: MDVWork Arrangement: Full-time, permanent/direct hireSchedule: 75% Remote, 25% TravelAbout Us:Our client is a leading private equity firm focused on investing in promising companies across various industries. Their portfolio includes dynamic businesses with substantial growth potential in the manufacturing, light industrial, and consumer goods (CPG) space. Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a portfolio company for one of our Private Equity clients. The CFO will play a critical role in driving financial strategy, overseeing financial operations, and supporting the company's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation, extensive M& A experience, and a proven track record of success in smaller organizations with less than $500 million in revenue (Manufacturing or CPG HIGHLY preferred).Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term objectives and growth plans. Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making processes at both operational and strategic levels.

Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.

Mergers and Acquisitions (M& A): Lead M& A initiatives, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and deal structuring. Evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic partnerships to support the company's growth objectives.

Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Leadership and Team Development: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

CPA designation required.

Extensive experience (minimum 7-10 years) in financial management roles, with a focus on M& A activities.

Proven track record of success in smaller organizations with less than $500 million in revenue, preferably within the private equity or related industry.
